Wunghnu Tavern

The Tavern at Wunghnu began life as the local mechanic's institute in 1890 - a place of quiet reflection, reading and social get togethers. It is now heritage listed and a friendly, dynamic tavern with heaps of character and atmosphere.

The Wunghnu Tavern is well known in the region for its country style meals and music events. Dance the night away on the Tavern's dancefloor and unwind with a range of great visiting bands and musicians.

Owner, Trish, and her friendly staff go out of their way to ensure your night is an enjoyable one. During the winter months, there is a cosy log fire in the front lounge or join the locals in the bar for a drink and some lively conversation.

Several nights a week are reserved for special menus including Wednesday nights - fish, chips and salad with live music for $12.00.

Open seven days, it is well worth a stop at Wunghnu Tavern.
