Spoil yourself with magnificent views of surf, sand, tidal rock pools and dense coastal scrub from cliff top tracks on the 30-kilometre hike from Cape Schanck to London Bridge at Portsea.
Follow the walking track from the kiosk towards the Cape via the wooden staircase and boardwalk which descends to the beach and rock platform. Enjoy the lookouts with spectacular views over the geological formations of Pulpit Rock and Devils Desk, which were created over millions of years. Please take care on the rock platforms as large unexpected waves may wash across the rocks.
Two-kilometres return through dense coastal vegetation, lookouts to vantage points with spectacular views of basalt cliffs at Selwyn's Fault. At low tide, Fingal beach is exposed but always check tides before setting out. Track is steep in some sections.
Two-kilometres return circular walk starts at St Johns Wood Road car park, overlooks rugged Bridgewater Bay and returns along a sheltered coastal bush track.
Eleven-kilometre track constructed in the 1890s to provide quick access to the coast after two disastrous shipwrecks. Vantage points at the Bay of Islands and St Paul's Lookout provide fine coastal views. Head further west to Koonya Ocean Beach and No 16, (the 16th lifesaving point). Short detours to Diamond Bay, Jubilee Point, and St Paul's.
Three-kilometre historic track winds its way along cliff tops from Diamond Bay, along original nineteenth century limestone paved footpath. Enjoy spectacular coastal views from lookouts.
Loop return half-kilometre or add 1.2-kilometre loop to Sphinx Rock. Short circuit walk from Sorrento Life Saving Club via Coppins lookout rotunda. On a clear day you can see along the coast as from Cape Schanck to the Otways and Dandenong Ranges.
