Young at Heart, the only film festival in the world catering to film lovers over 60 years of age, returns this April to Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, and Canberra - and makes its debut in Adelaide. Presented for the first time by Palace Cinemas, the festival celebrates its 12th birthday in 2017, with a specially curated selection of intense dramas, cracking comedies, and riveting documentaries.

The 2017 Young at Heart festival ambassador is Lynette Curran. Beginning her career in the sixties, Lynette is one of Australia’s most respected film and television actors. From her early days in the soap opera 'Bellbird' to classic Australian films such as 'Bliss', 'The Boys', 'Japanese Story', and 'Somersault', Lynette has made an enormous contribution to the local screen industry. She is currently seen in 'A Few Less Men', in which she turns the seniors stereotype on its head.

Young at Heart - Presented by Palace Cinemas.

Melbourne: April 20 – 26, Palace Balwyn and Brighton Bay.
