Taking place in the rolling green hills of Alexandra, the Murrindindi Beanie Festival Vic is on again 22 & 23 July. The festival is an easy scenic one and half hours drive north east from Melbourne via either Yea or Healesville.

Doors open from 10:00am to 4:00pm. The festival promises to provide fun and frivolity as beanies of all shapes and sizes are donated, displayed and available to purchase throughout the event.

This year’s theme Aussie Bush, will see the return of favorite categories Funky Fibre Fusion, Murrindindi Madness and Best Teapot Beanie. While the Most Down to Earth Beanie is a sculptural wonder that may include natural fibres, timber, metal or more. This event is open to anyone to enter.

Hot soup will be served and a selection of the very best beanies will be auctioned on Saturday 22 at 3:00pm, while a mini market adds to the fun.

For further category details, conditions of entry and entry forms should you wish to enter a beanie, look for the Murrindindi Beanie Festival Vic Brochure or visit their Facebook page. Proceeds from the sale of the fabulous beanies go towards local charities to help people within the community of Murrindindi.
