Beaches and rock pools

Stroll along wide sandy beaches and rocky outcrops then up the ante with an exhilarating dive into the surf at Yeerung Beach. Cast a line from the shore or out at sea, or explore the sparkling rivers, inlets and rock pools that are dotted throughout the park.

Wilderness trails

Explore the quiet corners and vast landscapes of the park on a self-guided walk. Follow the boardwalk for an insight into the unique coastal environment of the park on the Cape Conran Nature Trail. Spot ground parrots and rosellas on a heathland walk. Venture out to magnificent Dock Inlet – a landlocked expanse of fresh water, or trek out over rolling sand dunes to see the sedimentary rock formations at Pearl Point.

Aboriginal Traditional Owners

The Bidawal, Gunaikurnai and Nindi-Ngudjam Ngarigu Monero people are the traditional owners of the Cape Conran National Park and have inhabited the area for tens of thousands of years. These Indigenous sites make up part of Australia's heritage so please show respect when visiting.
