Get off the highway and take some time out in the historic military and rail service township of Seymour, situated on the leafy banks of the winding Goulburn River.
Take a tour of the old carriages and locomotives at the Seymour Railway Heritage Centre. Recharge with a visit to the nearby Rocky Passes Estate winery or have a beer at Seymour's Royal Hotel, which, in the 1940s, came to prominence with its depiction in artist Russell Drysdale's painting Moody's pub.
