Cruise to Melbourne
Melbourne is a popular port for the world's most prestigious cruise liners. Just four kilometres from the city centre, Melbourne's Station Pier services porting and visiting cruise ships, and is the permanent home of the Spirit of Tasmania I and II, the car and passenger ferry service between Melbourne and Devonport, Tasmania.
The port's terminal offers passengers a range of services, including lounge facilities and visitor information, in a safe and friendly environment. Taxis, coaches, tour guides and the Skybus shuttle service operate pick-ups from the wharf. From October to April, knowledgeable staff and volunteers from the City of Melbourne operate an information desk at Station Pier. A tram service to the city runs directly from the pier.
